We are 100% Co2 neutral in our energy consumption

At Alflow, we believe that we all have a responsibility to contribute to a sustainable society, and as part of achieving the government's goal of reducing Denmark's total Co2 emissions by 70% by 2030, it is therefore natural that, as a company, we are already starting work on reducing Co2 emissions.

 

The immediate place to start is on our energy consumption - including the way we supply electricity and gas to our workplace.

 

We have chosen to get supplies of electricity and gas from Co2-neutral production, and therefore we can now emphasise that all electricity we use is based on electricity produced by Danish wind turbines, and all gas we use comes from generation II-biogas plants. Thus, we are now 100% Co2 neutral in our energy consumption. (See certificates at the bottom of the page.)

We contribute to the reduction of the total Co2 emissions

In 2020, the Folketing (Danish Parliament) passed the Danish Climate Act. The purpose of the act is for Denmark to reduce Co2 emissions in 2030 by 70 per cent. in relation to the level in 1990, and that Denmark shall be a climate-neutral society by 2050.

 

At Alflow, we fully support this goal, and as a company we try to contribute to the reduction of total Co2 emissions.

We want to develop together with our partners towards a common goal of a more sustainable society.

 

That is why we work closely with our customers to optimise the entire supply chain in order to reduce Co2 emissions.

 

As we are 100% Co2-neutral in our energy consumption, we meet the goal of Co2-neutral energy supply, so we are already a good step in the right direction.
