Skills development is an investment in both people and quality. At Alflow, we spent a total of 804 hours on courses, certifications and professional updating in 2025. This strengthens our consultancy services, our collaboration and our ability to deliver solutions that customers can rely on.
Competence is our most important investment
Competence is our most important investment
As we develop, it strengthens our ability to deliver quality, advice and solutions that customers can rely on.
At Alflow, we operate in a field where it is not enough to supply the right components. We must also understand them thoroughly. Our customers within pharma and food demand high standards of quality, documentation
and professional advice, and it requires employees who constantly keep themselves sharp.
Therefore, education and skills development is not something we do because we have to. It is something we do because we know that our professional expertise is what makes the difference for our customers and for us as a company.
In 2025, we invested significant resources overall in skills development. Across the company, we spent a total of 804 hours—which is an average of 15 hours per employee—on courses,
certifications and professional development.
Skills development is felt in everyday life
For the employees, competence development is not just about courses and hours in the calendar. It
is about getting practical tools that can be used in everyday life - in cooperation, in dialogue with
colleagues and when meeting new tasks. For Mike, who has taken an academy degree in
management, the education has particularly provided a greater
understanding of people and collaboration in practice:
“The most important thing I have taken away is a larger toolkit for handling the various situations one encounters in everyday life."
He also points out that development is equally about becoming better at empowering those around you: “If you can have a positive influence on the man next to you, then seize that ball. Make him look good."
An investment in people and quality
At Alflow, skills development is therefore not only an investment in the individual employee, but in the entire organisation's ability to collaborate, develop and deliver high quality to customers. This is also clearly felt by the employees themselves. As Mike says: “It means a great deal to be somewhere that shows it is investing in its own talent."
