At Alflow, external audit is a regular part of our quality work. It is about proving that we have control over our supply chain – not just with words, but with documentation.

As an ISO 9001-certified company, we are committed to ensuring that our suppliers live up to the requirements set by our customers. It is not enough to assume that a quality management system is in place. In recent years, requirements have tightened – from customers, standards and legislation alike – and we take them seriously by going out and seeing it with our own eyes.

Documentation all the way through

For several of our clients, it is a non-negotiable requirement that their suppliers can document control over the entire supply chain.

External audit is a concrete way in which we document and provide assurance that we not only set requirements for our suppliers, but actively follow up to ensure those requirements are met. It is part of the expert role we assume when we choose to be a supplier in industries where there is no room for compromise.

We are being put to the test ourselves

Our customers can also choose to come and audit us. This places specific demands on the entire organisation and is one of the reasons why we continually improve our skills, share knowledge across departments and find smarter ways of working, so that as a company as a whole we can always stand by what we promise our customers.
