Single-use valves Alflow sells a wide range of single-use valves for the pharmaceutical industry. We have both manual and pneumatically activated single-use valves for flow control in single-use systems, including pinch valves, diaphragm replacement valves and shut-off valves. See the selection of single-use valves from leading manufacturers on this site. What are single-use valves? Our single use valves can be used as an alternative to stainless steel valves, making it easy to adapt the processes to single use. The valve and liner design allows for exceptional fluid control, removal of dead zones and significantly low hold-up volumes. With single-use valves, you achieve 100% flow, and there is no pressure loss through the valve, as is often seen in stainless-steel diaphragm valves, and they can be easily replaced as well - and even without the use of tools. With single-use valves, you also avoid extensive cleaning validation and quickly get back into operation. Simply replace and dispose of each liner/insert after each batch, which is more efficient than cleaning and reusing a traditional stainless-steel valve. Find the right single-use valves for your application Our single-use valves are made of materials that ensure an extremely high level of cleanliness and thus the best conditions for your product. The valves are available in a number of variants, including: • Manual pinch valves • Pneumatically activated pinch valves • Manual diaphragm replacement valves • Pneumatically actuated diaphragm replacement valves • Shut-off valves The shut-off valve is a precise flow regulator and shut-off valve for silicone hoses used in bioprocesses and pharmaceutical product manufacturing applications. The BioValve valve offers full flexibility in single use applications. It can be installed on the most common types of silicone hose. The diaphragm replacement valves are a direct drop-in replacement of your existing stainless-steel diaphragm valves, making them easy to replace and use in single-use processes. The pinch valves are designed for single-use flow control in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The single-use valves surpass other pinch valves due to easy maintenance, simple installation, compact and durable design and 0 to 100% fluid control. The valves can be used in a wide range of applications in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, including: • mixing • media and buffer manufacturing • cell clarification/harvest • perfusion • filtration • downstream filtering • downstream chromatography • downstream replenishment • downstream buffer exchange • downstream virus inactivation • downstream concentration • downstream fractionation • downstream transfer • etc.
